1)Ambience   The beautifully landscaped Anglo-Chinese School campus at Barker Road houses both primary and secondary schools, a sports complex, Barker Road Methodist Church and ACS Oldham Hall. ACS Oldham Hall is nestled deep inside the campus, past the church and the school canteen. 2) Rooms ACS Oldham Hall has 2, 3, 4 or 6-bedded rooms, divided into four clusters per level. Boarders are provided with a personal bed, desk, chair, book shelf, notice board, and wardrobe. 3) Facilities/Amenities near dorms ( by floor ) Community spaces for boarders include a Study Room with computer access and a Common Room for indoor recreational purposes on every floor. In addition, each cluster has its own pantry where boarders can gather over hot drinks and snacks. Public telephones are available on Levels 3 and 5. Boarders can sign up for Wireless Internet service in their respective rooms and Study Room provided by the authorised Internet service provider   4) Other Facilities The Dining Hall in ACS Oldham Hall is not just a place to gather for meals. Movie screenings and performances are also held in the Dining Hall. The Chapel is where boarders gather to worship God every Sunday evening. Barker Road Methodist Church also holds its Filipino and Indonesian services there on Sundays. Other rooms on Level 1 include a Laundry Room with coin-operated machines, an ironing room and a Music Room which is popular with students who want to practice their instruments. The Hall has also installed three vending machines on Level 1 – one for International phone cards and two for drinks and snacks. 5) Sports Facilities ACS Oldham Hall enjoys the privilege of using the school’s Olympic-size pool, tennis courts, futsal court, indoor courts and outdoor courts. Boarders also enjoy playing table-tennis in the Dining Hall. The latest addition to sports facilities is a new gym, located next to the Dining Hall. Table-tennis tables and equipment are available for boarders in ACS Oldham Hall. Boarders may also borrow board games and other recreational games.   Note:The Dining Hall, Music Room, Chapel and dormitory rooms are availablefor bookings for special events, camps and retreats.
